Police appeal to find 87-year-old man missing from Bass Hill

An image of Neville Brown has been uploaded to the NSW Police Force social media pages.

Police are appealing for public assistance to find an elderly man reported missing from Bass Hill.

Mr Neville Brown, aged 87, was last seen at an aged-care facility about 3pm today (Saturday 9 July 2022).

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and have commenced extensive inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Mr Brown's welfare as he lives with dementia.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, of medium build. He has a scar on his nose.

He was last seen wearing an orange shirt, blue jumper and track pants.

Anyone with information into Mr Browns whereabouts is urged to contact Bankstown Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
