Police appeal to find man missing from Cootamundra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from the Riverina region.

Warren Hopgood, aged 89, was last seen about 10.45am today (Wednesday 14 July 2021), leaving his house at Matilda Avenue, Cootamundra in his car and has not been seen since.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Police and Warren's family have serious concerns for his welfare due to his age and a condition which requires medication.

Warren is believed to be travelling in his silver Holden Rodeo bearing NSW registration WH492. The vehicle has minor damage to the front bulbar and front passenger side.

Warren is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm to 180cm tall, a slim build, with balding, grey hair and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing jeans, a grey jumper, a blue shirt and brown shoes.
