Police appeal to find missing teen - Hinchinbrook

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl reported missing from Sydney's south-west.

Matania Ngati, aged 15, was last seen on Wednesday 31 March 2021 in the Hinchinbrook area.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

Matania is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, approximately 180cm tall, of large build, with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black hoodie.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age and health issues.

They describe her disappearance as out of character.

Anyone who sees Matania, or believes they know her whereabouts, is urged to contact Liverpool Police or Crime Stoppers.
