A man has been arrested following an investigation into a domestic violence incident.
On Thursday 24 September, Southern District police responded to a domestic violence incident in the southern suburbs where it will be alleged that a man threatened to assault and kill his female partner during an argument, then stole her phone.
The victim-survivor was provided support by a specialist police family violence investigator, while patrols undertook inquiries to locate the suspect.
Following investigations, a 35-year-old northern suburbs man was arrested on Saturday 26 September in Adelaide. He was charged with threats to kill, aggravated assault, theft and breaching an intervention order.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 28 September.
Police will not tolerate domestic violence and will take every action available to protect victim-survivors and hold offenders accountable for their actions.
