Police appeal to locate boy missing from Berkeley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Lake Illawarra area.

Curtis McWilliams, aged 13, was last seen on Northcliffe Drive, Berkeley, about 10am on Saturday (12 August 2023).

When he did not return and was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified on Sunday (13 August 2023) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Curtis is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm-160cm tall, with large build and light blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue hooded jumper, a maroon/yellow coloured jumper and black shorts.

He is known to frequent the Berkeley areas.

Anyone who sights Curtis, or has information into his whereabouts, is call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
