Police appeal to locate boy missing from Broken Hill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Broken Hill.

Maliq King, aged 14, was last seen last week (Thursday 15 December 2022) on Thirteenth St, Mildura.

After family members could not get in touch with him, officers from Barrier Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for Maliq's welfare due to his young age.

Maliq is described as being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build with short black hair and brown eyes.

Officers believe that he is currently in the Mildura area.
