Police appeal to locate elderly man missing from Punchbowl

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south west.

Assaf Abiassaf, aged 80, was last seen getting into his car at Highclere Avenue, Punchbowl, about 9.30am today (Sunday 20 November 2022).

When he didn't return to his home in Punchbowl, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he is elderly, and his disappearance is out of character.

Assaf is described as being of Mediterranean Appearance, 160cm tall, medium build, and balding with grey hair.

He was last seen driving a silver Toyota Prius.
