Police appeal to locate elderly man missing from Fairfield 10 December

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's west.

Miroslav Milat, aged 82, was last seen leaving a nursing home on Runcorn Street, St John's Park, about 11am on Saturday 10 December 2022.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and have commenced inquiries to locate the man.

Mirsolav is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall, of thin build, and with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a navy cardigan, maroon shirt and grey tracksuit pants.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

It's believed he may attempt to travel to the Bossley Park area on public transport.
