Police appeal to locate girl missing from Granville

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from South Granville.

Sumayah Roberts, aged 11, was last seen on Ferndell Street, South Granville, about 9.00am today (Monday 20 February 2023).

After failing to return home, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare.

Sumayah is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 155cm tall, of small build, with brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black hijab and black pants with a white floral pattern; she may now be wearing a cream-coloured skirt and a t-shirt.

Sumayah may be in South Granville, Bankstown, Chester Hill or Sefton areas.
