Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Blacktown 6 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Maoai Misilei, aged 72, was last seen at medical facility on Blacktown Road, Blacktown, about 9.40am today (Monday 6 July 2026).

When he was unable to be located, officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Maoai is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 170cm to 175cm tall, of medium build, with balding grey hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white jumper with dark horizontal stripes, dark coloured jacket and pants, and carrying a black bag
