Police appeal to locate man missing from Hunters Hill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's north-west.

John Kavanagh, aged 62, was last seen by family at Hunters Hill, about 1.30pm yesterda (Sunday 1 May 2022).

When he failed to return home, John was reported missing to officers from Ryde Police Area Command, who have commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.

John is described as Caucasian appearance, 177cm, medium build and bald.

He was last seen wearing a navy-coloured Tommy Hilfiger hoodie over a navy blue Lacoste polo shirt, black Adidas track pants.

Anyone with information about John's whereabouts is urged to contact Ryde Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
