Police appeal to locate man missing from Port Macquarie

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's Mid North Coast.

Peter Colver, aged 63, was reported missing to officers from Mid North Coast Police District on Friday (9 December 2022), after family attended his home on Hill Street, Port Macquarie, and could not locate or contact him.

Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to a number of medical conditions that require regular treatment.

Peter is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of solid build, with grey hair. He walks with a shuffle and is known to wear loose tracksuit pants.

Initial inquiries have revealed he travelled via train from Sydney to Wauchope on Saturday 3 December 2022 and may still be in that area.

He is known to frequent train stations.
