Police appeal to locate man missing from state's north 7 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from northern NSW.

Gary Taylor, aged 76, was last seen about 5pm on Monday 28 February 2022 at an evacuation centre in Lismore.

Officers from Richmond Police Area Command were notified when Gary could not be located or contacted and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police have concerns for Gary's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Gary is described as being about 170cm to 180cm tall, of medium build, with an olive complexion and grey hair.

He is missing his index finger on his left hand and is missing some front top teeth.
