Police appeal to locate man missing from Wiley Park

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south-west.

Bilal Bashir Ahmed, aged 20, was last seen at his home on Beauchamp Street, Wiley Park, about 2pm on Wednesday 9 June 2021.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified after he failed to return home later that evening.

An investigation commenced into his whereabouts and despite extensive inquiries, Bilal has not been located.

Police and Bilal's family hold concerns for his welfare.

Bilal is described as being of African appearance, about 170cm tall, of a medium build, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black coloured hoodie, track pants and shoes.

Police have been told Bilal may have recently travelled to Melbourne.

Anyone who sees Bilal or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact Campsie Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
