Police appeal to locate missing girl - Mount Druitt 12 October

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the Mount Druitt area.

Tyraa Shearer-Cooper, aged 10, was last seen at a shopping centre on Luxford Road, Mount Druitt, about 4.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 12 October 2023).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her age.

Tyraa is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of a thin build, with light brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing navy-blue pants with flowers on the back, a green shirt and a pink jacket.

Tyraa is known to utilise public transport and is known to frequent the Mount Druitt, Tregear, Whalan and Penrith areas.

Anyone who has seen Tyraa or has information of her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
