Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man From South Coast 23 March

Police are appealing for public assistance as a search operation continues to locate a man reported missing from the South Coast area.

Corey Stubbs, aged 25, was last seen in the Sussex Inlet area about 8pm yesterday (Sunday 22 March 2026).

Unable to be located and contacted since, officers attached to South Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Corey is described as of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island appearance, slim build, about 170 to 180 centimetres tall, with short dark hair.

He was wearing light blue board shorts at the time.

Yesterday, a land and water search was launched in the Sussex Inlet area, led by local police with assistance from Marine Rescue NSW, Surf life Saving, and a LifeSaver helicopter.

As the search continues, anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Nowra Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
