Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from the state's north.
John Hammond, aged 75, was last seen yesterday (Tuesday 7 April 2026) on Mullaway Drive, Mullaway.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Initial inquiries indicate John may be travelling to Maryland near Newcastle. He may be driving a white Subaru hatchback with NSW registration EHH52M.
Police and family have concerns for John's welfare as he lives with Dementia.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm to 175cm tall with medium build, with grey hair.
Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Coffs Clarence Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
