Police appeal to locate missing teen at Wollongong

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a missing teenager in Wollongong.

Owen Fisher, aged 16, was last seen leaving a school on Gipps Street, Wollongong, at 3.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 2 June 2021).

When he failed to return to his home in Keiraville, his family reported him missing about 6.40pm the same day to officers attached to Wollongong Police District, who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Police and family are concerned for Owen's welfare as he has a medical condition, and his disappearance is out of character.

Owen is described as being of Asian appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing his school uniform; a white shirt and grey pants, with black rectangular glasses.

Owen is believed to be wearing a grey and black peaked hat.
