Police appeal to locate missing teen - Birrong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a male teen missing from Sydney's west.

Hamdi Elsayed, age 17, was last seen about 7.15pm yesterday (Saturday 17 October 2020), near his home on McCrossin Street, Birrong.

Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command commenced an investigation into his whereabouts when he failed to return home.

Hamdi is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm-175cm tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt with a white collar, black and grey shorts, long soccer socks and black soccer boots.

Hamdi is known to frequent the Birrong, Chullora and Bankstown area.

Police and his family have concerns for his well-being.
