Police appeal to locate missing teen girl at Hurstville

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's south.

Jiavanti Juliette Betham-Prasad, aged 12, was last seen at a home on Botany Road, Alexandria on Wednesday 9 June 2021.

When she did not return home and was unable to be located, police were notified today (Saturday 12 June 2021).

Officers attached to St George Police Area Command have commenced inquiries into Jiavanti's whereabouts. Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.

Jiavanti is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 175cm tall, thin build with brown eyes and brown long hair.

It is believed Jiavanti might be in the western Sydney area.
