Police appeal to locate missing teenage boy at Dapto

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from the state’s south.

Tyler McDonald, aged 16, was last seen in Dapto about 7.45pm last night (Thursday 18 August 2022).

Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and have commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and that Tyler lives with autism.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 180cm to 185cm tall, of thin build, and with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a ‘Playstation’ jumper, black track pants, grey running shoes and glasses.

Anyone who may have seen Tyler or who may know of his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
