Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from South West Sydney.
Katherine Tran, aged 18, was last seen on Newman Street, Merrylands, about 2pm today (30 October 2022).
When she could not be located, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Katherine is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall with solid build and dark hair.
She was last seen wearing a green Merrylands High School jacket, black trousers, black shoes and carrying a black bag.
Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with autism.
She is known to frequent the Parramatta Westfields and CBD area, and may be travelling on the train network.
