Police appeal to locate teenager missing from Lalor Park

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's west.

Phoenix De Leeuw, aged 16, was last seen returning home from school on Maughan Street, Lalor Park, about 3.30pm on Thursday 18 August 2022.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were notified he was missing and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Phoenix is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 188cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and green eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black track pants with a hole in the left knee, and black shoes.

Phoenix is known to frequent the Blacktown and Parramatta areas.
