Police appeal to locate woman missing from Chester Hill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Bankstown area.

Catherine "Mimi" NGUYEN, aged 21, was last seen at her home on Elliston Street, Chester Hill, about 6pm yesterday (Tuesday 26 October 2021).

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command commenced an investigation into her whereabouts when she was reported missing by a family member.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Mimi's welfare as she requires special care as she is on the autism spectrum and is 'non-verbal'.

Mimi is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160-165cm tall, of medium build, with black, shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing black pants, a t-shirt, pink shoes and a multi-coloured bracelet on her wrist.

Police have been told Mimi regularly utilises the public transport network from Sefton Railway Station and is known to attend the city.
