Police appeal to locate woman missing from Balmoral

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's North Shore.

Sophia Lengarkis, aged 30, was last seen near the public toilets on The Esplanade, Balmoral Beach, about 11.15am today (Friday 15 July 2022).

Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to Sophia living with an intellectual disability.

Sophia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 178cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a maroon jacket, black leggings, and black runners with pink laces.

Anyone with information about Sophia's whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
