Police appeal to locate woman missing from Albury 19 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the state's Murray River region.

Jo Leamon, aged 38, was last seen Tuesday afternoon (17 January 2023), by her housemate at a home on Greta Drive, Hamilton Valley, and has not been in contact with friends or family since.

She failed to return to work that day and officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified yesterday (Wednesday 18 January 2023), and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Jo's welfare as her lack of communication is considered out of character.

Jo is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm-180cm tall, medium build, fair complexion, with brown hair and blue-grey eyes.

Police believe Jo may be travelling in a 2011-model white Toyota Prado with NSW registration CYL38M.

Anyone with information into Jo's whereabouts is urged to contact Albury Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
