Police are responding to fatal collision at Flynn

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision at Flynn this afternoon.

Investigators have been told three vehicles collided on the Princes Highway near Barrs Lane about 1.20pm.

A man, who was the driver of one of the vehicles, sadly died at the scene.

A woman from another car suffered life-threatening injuries and has been airlifted to a Melbourne hospital.

Three people in the third vehicle were uninjured.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are en route and will investigate the collision.

Diversions are in place around the crash scene.

Investigators wish to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or with dashcam footage.
