Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Oakleigh this morning.
Emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of North Road and Golf Links Avenue about 11.30am.
CPR was performed on the yet-to-be formally identified rider, who died at the scene.
The male driver and only occupant in the vehicle was uninjured and stopped at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and an investigation is ongoing.
North and Golf roads and Golf Links Avenue remain closed in both directions, with detours in place.
