A man has died following a crash near Picton this morning.
Just before 11:30am today (Friday 19 February 2021), emergency services were called to the intersection of Rockford Road and Kammer Place, Tahmoor following reports of a collision between a Mitsubishi Challenger and a Nissan Pulsar.
The driver of the Nissan – believed to be a man aged in his 30s – died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the Mitsubishi – a 64-year-old woman – suffered minor injuries and was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command and Macarthur Highway Patrol attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officers will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
