About 1.05pm, emergency services responded to reports a white Toyota Landcruiser Ute and a yellow Suzuki SX4 station sedan had collided on Albany Highway near Youngs Road.
The 55-year-old female driver of the Suzuki was located with critical injuries and died at the scene. A 26-year-old female passenger was flown to Royal Perth Hospital in a critical condition.
The 18-year-old driver of the Toyota was conveyed to Kojonup Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
