Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Buckingham

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a crash that occurred in Buckingham, near Collie, on Sunday, 12 October 2025.

About 7.15pm, a grey Holden Captiva station sedan travelling westbound, and a silver Ford F250 utility travelling eastbound on Coalfields Highway, were involved in a head-on collision.

The 65-year-old female driver of the Holden Captiva died at the scene.

The passengers - two adults and three children - were all conveyed to hospital for medical treatment.

The 61-year-old male driver of the Ford F250 was conveyed to hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The 48-year-old female passenger did not require medical attention.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
