Police are responding to fatal crash, Conondale

A 30-year-old Conondale woman has died following a single vehicle crash in Conondale this evening (September 5).

Initial investigations indicate around 6.40pm, a silver sedan was travelling north along Aherns Road when it left the roadway and collided with a driveway culvert, causing the vehicle to roll.

The woman and sole occupant of the vehicle sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
