Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Scarborough early this morning, Saturday 1 July 2023.
About 12.05am, a silver Honda Accord sedan was travelling west along Scarborough Beach Road when near Abbett Road, the sedan left the road and struck a tree.
The 19-year-old male driver sustained critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to hospital where he later died. The male passenger, also 19, sustained serious leg injuries and was also conveyed to hospital.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the silver Honda Accord sedan travelling in the area prior to the crash, and urge anyone with information relating to this incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au
