A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Oakleigh South this evening.
It's believed the rider lost control of the motorcycle and hit a pole on Warrigal Road about 9.20pm.
Despite emergency services performing CPR, the yet-to-be formally identified rider died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
