Police are responding to fatal crash in Benjinup

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Benjinup (Boyup Brook) yesterday, Thursday 1 June 2023.

About 4.10pm, a silver Subaru Forester was travelling along the Bridgetown-Boyup Brook Road when the vehicle left the carriageway and struck a tree.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 33-year-old man, sustained critical injuries in the crash. He was conveyed by ambulance to hospital where he died.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or the silver Subaru Forester travelling in the area prior to the crash, and urge anyone with information relating to this incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au
