A man has died following a single vehicle crash in Buxton on 15 June.
It is believed the truck may have jack knifed on Buxton-Marysville Road just after 1.30pm.
The truck has hit a tree and sadly the yet to be identified driver has died at the scene.
The seriously injured passenger was trapped for some time in the vehicle with emergency services working to remove him.
He has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
The exact cause of the crash will be investigated.
