PSPA Emergency Declaration Declaration, Kallangur

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to an ongoing policing incident in Kallangur.

A declaration was made at approximately 12.07pm today, 3 October, following a report of an armed person inside a home.

At this time, police have not received any reports of injuries.

An exclusion zone has been established while police respond, encompassing Alma Street, Ann Street, Marsden Street and Thompson Street.

Residents within the exclusion zone are asked to stay indoors and members of the public and motorists to avoid the area.
