Police are responding to fatal crash in state's North West

A man has died in a single vehicle crash in the State's north west on Tuesday.

About 1.45pm (Tuesday 29 December 2021), emergency services responded to reports of a crash on Niangala Road, Niangala.

Officers attached with Oxley Police District attended the scene and found one man, an 89-year-old passenger of a Holden Rodeo utility, had died.

The driver, a 16-year-old male with a Learner's licence issued in Queensland, and another male passenger, were taken to Tamworth Hospital for treatment for chest and arm injuries.

The driver underwent mandatory testing.
