About 6.20pm, a black Hyundai Getz and a black Triumph motorcycle collided at the intersection of Anketell Road and Kwinana Freeway.
The motorcycle rider, a 48-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Hyundai, an 18-year-old man, stopped at the scene and was uninjured.
