Police are responding to serious crash at Parkside

Police are investigating a serious motorbike crash at Parkside this morning.

At 12.30am Thursday 28 September emergency services were called to the intersection of Castle Street and Fuller Street after a Ducati that had been travelling north lost control crashing into a fence and a parked car.

The rider of the motorbike, a 36-year-old Glandore man, received serious injuries and was conveyed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

The road was closed for about two hours while police cleared the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and ask anyone who saw the motorbike prior to the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or report on line at www.crimestopperssa.com.au – you can remain anonymous.
