Police are responding to serious crash at Murray Bridge, South Australia

Police are at the scene of a serious crash after a pedestrian was hit by a car on Adelaide Road at Murray Bridge.

Just before 3.30am on Wednesday 10 July, police and emergency services crews attended Adelaide Road near the intersection of Keith Street, after a car collided with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian has received critical injuries.

Police are currently speaking with the driver of the vehicle.

All traffic on Adelaide Road is being diverted around the crash site, so motorists are advised to expected delays on the Adelaide side of Murray Bridge.

Major Crash Investigators are attending the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
