Police are responding to serious crash - South Kalgoorlie

Major Crash Investigation Section officers are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred in South Kalgoorlie in the early hours of Saturday 16 January 2021.

Around 01.10 am, a blue Toyota Hilux left an address and travelled south on Blackall Place.

As the Toyota approached the intersection with Johnston Street, a male pedestrian has fallen under the vehicle.

The pedestrian, a 20-year-old man, was conveyed to Kalgoorlie Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver, a 22-year-old man, was uninjured.

Major Crash Investigation officers are urging anyone who saw the crash, the Toyota Hilux or pedestrian prior to the crash, or has any dash-cam or CCTV vision, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
