Police arrest four after Pakenham aggravated home invasion

Pakenham Police arrested four men following an aggravated home invasion in Pakenham last night.

The four were arrested after they allegedly entered a property on Greendale Boulevard just before midnight Thursday, 28 October.

The victim, who was home with his wife and children when the offenders smashed windows to gain entry.

The victim was assaulted by the offenders who were armed with a baseball bat and a conducted energy device, before they fled the house with the victim's wallet.

The offenders in a Grey Mazda CX9 wagon, drove from the address and were sighted by police on Greendale Boulevard.

The car was pursued by police before it stopped on the Princes Freeway, Officer, near Officer South Road

Police observed the offenders run from the vehicle into nearby paddocks.

An extensive search of the area with the assistance of the airwing located all four offenders, including one which had been hiding in a waterway nearby.

Police were also able to locate the victim's wallet, where the offenders were arrested.

The victim received minor injuries and all four offenders are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
