Police arrest man after drug seizure at Fitzroy

Detectives from the Echo Taskforce have arrested a man in Fitzroy today as part of an investigation into drug trafficking linked to Outlaw Motor Cycle Gangs.

A warrant was executed at a residential property on Nicholson Street this morning and a 54-year-old Fitzroy man was arrested.

He is now being interviewed in relation to drug possession and fail to disclose PIN code offences.

Detectives also seized a number of items at the address, included controlled substances believed to be steroids and human growth hormone.

These substances will now undergo forensic testing.

The investigation remains ongoing.
