Police arrest man after shooting incident at Pakenham

Police have arrested a 27-year-old man today following an alleged shooting incident in Pakenham on Monday 25 March.

Two men on push bikes, one armed with a firearm, were seen arguing with two other males and a female on Livingstone Boulevard just after 6pm.

It is alleged the offender fired a number of shots when he was chased by the victims onto Heritage Boulevard.

Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives executed a warrant at a Tasman Way residence in Pakenham this morning and arrested the Pakenham man without incident.

He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
