Police arrest man for eastern suburb break ins, South Australia

A man has been arrested following a break-in at Payneham yesterday.

About 4.15pm on Thursday 3 November, a woman returned to her home and discovered it had been broken into. Two iPads and jewellery had been stolen.

Later that evening, the victim alerted police that the iPads GPS tracking was showing the item to be in the Kilburn area.

Detectives arrived at the address and on searching the property located the stolen iPad and other personal belonging of the victim.

Officers also located mountain bike and mobile phone which had been stolen from a break-in at Walkerville on 24 October.

A 45-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with two counts serious criminal trespass and two counts theft. He has been refused police bail and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court today, Friday 3 November.
