Police Arrest Man For Indecent Assault On Train

A Taperoo man will appear in court today charged over an alleged indecent assault on an Outer Harbor line train.

It will be alleged the man assaulted a young woman on a train at Taperoo about 3pm on Tuesday 10 February.

Following investigations, yesterday (Tuesday 17 February) police arrested a 35-year-old Taperoo man and charged him with assault and indecent assault. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Anyone who is experiencing unwanted sexual behaviour, harassment or assault on public transport is urged to seek assistance immediately. Call Triple Zero for immediate police assistance, move to a safer area of the bus or train and alert staff or others around you.
