A man was arrest last night following investigations into a robbery at an Angle Vale service station last week.
Just before midnight on Monday 10 August, a man approached the night window of the service station on Curtis Road, Angle Vale armed with a machete and demanded cash.
The man then confronted and threatened another employee on the forecourt before running off empty-handed.
The victim sustained a superficial scratch to his neck when he was grabbed by the offender but did not require medical treatment.
Following investigations by Northern District CIB detectives, a 24-year-old Kidman Park man was arrested on Sunday 16 August and charged with two counts of attempted aggravated robbery.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today, Monday 17 August.
