Police Arrest Man Over Break And Enters At Bathurst

Police have arrested a man in the state's Central Tablelands over two alleged break and enters.

Officers from Chifley Police District commenced an investigation after break and enters allegedly occurred at premises in Bathurst on Kepple Street at 11.45pm on Tuesday (29 April 2025) and the following day (Wednesday 30 April 2025) at 2.20am along Williams Street.

Following inquiries officers arrested a 53-year-old man outside a hotel on Charlotte Street, Bathurst, about 4.20pm today (Thursday 1 May 2025).

It will be alleged the man resisted arrest.

He was taken to Bathurst Police Station where inquiries are continuing.
