Police arrest man over fatal collision at Murray Bridge, South Australia

A Murray Bridge driver has been arrested following a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in July.

Just before 3.30am on Wednesday 10 July, police and emergency services crews were called to Adelaide Road near the intersection of Keith Street after a Toyota sedan collided with a pedestrian.

The injured pedestrian, a 37-year-old man from Murray Bridge was treated at scene but sadly he died shortly after the collision.

Last night Major Crash Investigators arrested and charged the driver of the Toyota sedan, a 37-year-old man from Murray Bridge with aggravated driving without due care.

He has been bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 4 November.
